Since the beginning Appia has been the civil contractor on Melbourne’s largest retail precincts (including multiple Chadstone projects, multiple Werribee Plaza projects, Woodgrove Melton, Eastland, The Glen, and many more) as well as large commercial projects such as Caulfield Precinct and Harbour Town Docklands. We have also completed projects at numerous office and apartment towers around town, retirement communities, education facilities, and community hubs. We work with the biggest and smallest builders in Melbourne. These projects typically involve ground level demolition, bulk and detailed earthworks, trenching and service installation, road and pavement construction.

Concrete
Our boutique approach to concrete construction means we are very apt at intricate or detailed construction. We are always pouring concrete into foundations, rafts, and slab, but our skilled tradesman regularly take on complex concrete construction requiring advanced construction techniques and an attention to detail.
Infrastructure
Civil
Our commercial civil construction has led us to completing major road and intersection upgrades – some of the busiest in Melbourne – associated with large shopping centres. This has in turn has allowed us to become Vicroads Accredited. We have completed projects directly for Vicroads all around Victoria.
